The Carolina Youth Symphony Concert Orchestra The CYS Concert Orchestra is our intermediate ensemble. It is comprised of approximately 100 outstanding players who show strong musicianship. The group performs a wide range of demanding orchestral repertoire, and is conducted by Mr. James Kilgus. The CO performance schedule includes 5 concerts this year. All CYS members begin their season preparing music at YMCA Camp Greenville, which takes place in August. During camp, members of CYS orchestras combine musical instruction, making new friends and enjoying Camp Greenville's beauty and activities. Click here for audition information. |
