35^th Annual Young Artist Concerto Competition

Carolina Youth Symphony’s 35^th Annual Young Artist Concerto Competition will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Furman University. Applications must be submitted online by Monday, November 20, 2023.  First Place winners will receive a check for $500 and perform with the CYS Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 4:00pm in Furman University’s McAlister Auditorium.  Second and Third Place winners will be introduced at the concert and receive a plaque. Previous First Place winners of this competition are ineligible in their same performance category. This competition is open to musicians who have not reached age 19 by June 15, 2024.  Thanks to Bernhardt House of Violins for their sponsorship of this competition and the concert featuring the winners.
